Believe it or not, Flowmaster Series 50 w/Delta Flow sounds pretty good on a 4 banger. I took a risk going that route with my old sunfire, but was very happy I did. It was cheaper than a Bosal or Dynomax and didn't sound have that "fart can" sound to it like some of the cheaper mufflers do on 4 bangers. Not to mention, the straight through design of some of these fart cans decreases performance (on non-modified engines) due to lack of backpressure.
